Enabling and disabling a group

One check box, at the top of the group's settings.
Untick Enabled to park a group. The group, its members, its hotkey and its pinned shortcut all stay exactly as they are — PerchBar simply stops acting on it by itself:
- its hotkey is not registered, so the keys are free for something else;
- windows of its members are not claimed, so they keep their own taskbar buttons;
- its Jump List is taken away;
- windows it had already claimed are handed back, so the taskbar tidies itself up straight away rather than at the next restart.
The list shows a parked group as (disabled).
What still works
Disabled is not off. What you ask for explicitly still happens: clicking the pinned button still opens the group, and so do Open group and Launch all. The setting is about what PerchBar does on its own, which is why the checkbox is worded that way.
What it is for
- Trying a group out without committing to it — every suggested group arrives disabled for exactly this reason.
- Freeing a hotkey temporarily.
- Getting one project's windows back onto their own buttons for an afternoon, without dismantling the group.
